What To Do When You're At Home Sick

Guess where I've been today? At home. Sick. Probably going to puke on my computer any second. :D

This is just a random list of stuff that you should do when you're at home with the stomach bug going around school. 

  1. Get. Some. Sleep. Now, if you're like me and find it hard to sleep once you've already woken up, try to anyway. If you do end up sleeping, you feel A LOT better, but only about 6 hours of good sleep will make you feel better for good instead of for the next 5 minutes.
  2. Don't eat anything. You're going to have to practice self-control and your will of steel for this one, but don't eat anything, and only drink water until the bug is completely flushed out. Eating will only make more work for your stomach and immune system and make you feel worse. I ate a slice of pizza 20 minutes ago and I regret it.
  3. Keep yourself distracted. If you're sick of sleeping (get the joke), do something while still in bed to distract yourself from your stomach pains. It really does help! Watch a movie if you're lucky enough to have a TV in your room (so lucky), or some well needed episodes of The Nanny. Play some Pokemon. Anything to keep your mind off your stomach. 
Well, that's pretty much all I can think of right now, but try these and if they don't work, go to the doctor, cause there's something seriously wrong.
