Frustrating and Stupid Things You Can't Say on Jam A Grams

I'm sick of them! I'm sick of Jam a Grams and how limited they are, even to things that DONT MEAN ANYTHING BAD like, oh my goodness, seriously.

Examples:

What's so bad about saying the word 'would'? We use this word everyday in regular normal speech, so why can't we say it in AJ?

This is only helpful if you like being 'adopted' in the pillow room, but still.

I think part of the reason everyone calls them 'spikes' instead of 'spiked' is because you can't actually write the word 'spiked' in jam a grams.

What the heck? You can't say sorry to someone? How are you supposed to apologise?

This was supposed to say "Your the bomb" but it didn't let me put in the 'm'. I suppose this one is understandable, but in this context it's not actually bad. It's a compliment!

What if someone is bullying you, or won't stop following you? How are you supposed to tell them to back off? Oh, I know, 'Report and Block them', but that won't help with the following issue. You don't want to play AJ with some creep following you everywhere!

Same rule applies. What if someone won't leave a party that they are using to bully everyone? Or a friends den and your friend is inexperienced and doesn't know how to lock people out?

 

By the way, I am quite grateful for AJ giving us the ability to lock people out of our dens, because people used to come to my den and just stay there and not lave and you couldn't do anything about it.

You can't apologise either! Why????? How else are you supposed to say sorry? Apart from this list of words from the top of my head which I'm pretty sure you can't say in the jam a grams either: contrite, conscience-stricken, guilt-ridden, penitent, repentant, self-accusing, shamefaced. My favourite is shamefaced.

 

But you get my point! It's so annoying when you are trying to communicates and it doesn't let you say anything, so you have to say things like "what you want for that spike" or "I do no like that".

Sit Cloak

I couldn't come up with a better title I'm sorry. It's pretty misleading I guess. But there is a reason for my madness. While in Jamaa Township, I wanted to trade with an Arctic Wolf.

 

And I look at her character and I think 'wait a second, is she sitting down?' But upon further examination, I saw that perhaps she was standing up but the cloak was covering her back leg. Still, I wanted to be sure.

 

So I asked her to come to my den, and she took off her cloak for me, and it was just an Arctic Wolf standing up. Still, it looked cool from perspective. Also, I wanted to see if there was another item that made you look like that. So I searched for an Arctic Wolf with a Worn Blanket

 

 

Nope.

 

No blanket to see if it ones without blankets sat.

 

Nuhuh.

 

And one with a headdress to see if there was a glitch among headdress wearers that I have never seen before.

 

Unfortunately not.

 

This has been my first test, and hasn't been a very good test either. I'm going to try to include more glitches and AJ item history into this to make it less boring. If you have discovered any glitches or have info on item history, please let me know!

 

I will end this post with a pun that got me giggling.

Lucky Update #2: The Good One :D

Sup hambones! This weeks update is actually GOOD 0,0 It even has a new adventure, new den set, and an awesome Pi Day which even though I'm not a fan of maths, is pretty darn cool! But enough talk, let me show you!

I like the paint set, yes, but why does AJ have to advertise their blog on a page, when it is at the front of every Jamaa Journal?

 

 Now this is a bit sad. National Geographic's Animal Jam having to advertise their blog twice in one journal?

 

 

I am personally very excited about the SUPER Pi DAY, because I LURVE pie, and the items will be exclusive to Saturday and Sunday!

 

I'm not even going to comment.

Also some new Clover armour. I think the armour things are just getting lamer. I personally did not like the Friendship armour at all. I don't know why, it just looked. Tacky.

Lucky Party & Glitched Cupid Wings

Hi peeps. I have been trying to get to the lucky party for ages, and I finally can so yayyyy! It's pretty much the same as last year, same amazingly expensive items too.

 

I mean, 300 for clover patch? Seriously? Why do they make them so expensive anyway. What do they gain? I don't want to go in a massive rant, but what does AJ gain from expensive items apart from the fact that you can trade diamonds for gems Whaat?

 

Anyway, there's also some really cool items there, which knowing AJ they won't release.

I love the wallpaper as well as all the items I've circled, none of which I have ever seen in stores. I've seen the Potted Plants, but that big? That's like, a giants potted plants!

 

Okay, so to the glitched wings. Here's a photo.

 

This guy/girl wanted a pair of 'glossy brown wings' for his entire trade list, which was like, a rare headdress, rare spikes, stuff like that. Now, I'm just guessing that 'glossy brown wings' are the glitched ones, but I want one! Like, wow!

 

Apparently they are now really rare, the ones sold in February 2014.

 

 

 

 

 

Lucky Party update and Dress Game Glitch

Heyyyyyy. I'm quite pleased to make this post, because the lucky party is one of my favourite parties. Maybe it's because I love green? Or maybe it's because I've been waiting all year for the items.

 

Now, I said I love update, not the Journal. You want to know why? It's because this Jamaa Journal is a very sorry excuse for a Jamaa Journal. The only new thing is the front page. All other pages are exactly the same. Just to emphasise my frustration, I'm not going to leave any comments for the other pages.

 

 

 

 

Ha! Take that AJ!

 

The only difference with these pages are that the ponies was the front page of the last update, and the Friendship Party reminder is shorter. Other than that, it's basically just a reminder of what we already know. It's very disappointing.

 

But I suppose I shouldn't be as angry, because it's an in between the actual update update. But still.

 

 

Also, the Heart Couch is going to have it's last day for this year. I actually don't mind this part, because the Heart Couch is my least favourite heart themed item. Also, when I saved it I spelt couch wrong so it came out as 'counch'.

 

There is another thing I'm excited about. My ultimate favourite den item, the Clover Fountain.

 

 

It just looks so fancy and professional!

 

Now to end this once again late post which I'm sorry for by the way, a weird glitch with the Dress Up game (I've had a mind blank and forgotten what it's called).

 

 

I get this pretty much every time I play, which is probably why I never win. What I love about this game though I that as long as you vote, you can still get 25 gems for coming last. Or is that with every game?

Sky High Mimi Tantrum

OMGOSH CUPCAKE GRANDMAS WHY CAN'T I BEAT THIS GAME! I was like, this close *makes a 2 cm space with fingers*! And then a cloud tempted me with a treasure chest full of gems and I hit a phantom. Whyyyyyy!

(I'm pretty sure this video won't work and/or it is really bad quality if so don't worry about it it's not that great)

And then I try again about a bazillion more times, and I can't even get close! I've lost my touch ;(

Oh, and how do you guys like the new theme? I found this really good collage maker app thing, and I love it! I'm going to do a different one depending on the season or my mood or what I feel like... Basically whatever I want. Heheh. But do you like it? I wanna know!

My sad gaming history is all I have to post about. I'm probably going to delete this post in like. A few days maybe. I don't know :l

Weird Valantines Glitch

Hi my fellow AJers. How have you guys been? Good, I hope. Sorry posts have been so random of late. I have this history assignment that I've had to do on the weekend unfortunately. But, hey, I found out this really weird thing. So, I was dancing at the Club Geos with no one in there, cause, you know, normal people do that all the time. And I put on my cupid bow and arrows to see how weird it looked, and it was floating 0,0

So I went to my den to see if it was just a one time only thing, but it was floating just the same! Weird AJ glitches. Gotta love em'.

 

I wish I knew how to make a video of this stuff that was sort of like a Gif. A gif video I guess? Can you even do that?

 

Anyone, back to the point and away from the sadness of my lack of technology knowledge. I thought it was really weird! So I tried it on my owl, horse and bunny. Now, the bunny looked sort of promising, but I'm not sure if it counts as floating.

 

Does this count as floating? Yes? No? I'm crazy? Haha, yeah, that last one is true.

 

I haven't had a view in 3 days 0.0

February 19 2015 update: Takes More than It Gives

Hiya. Okay, so usually there's at least one new thing with the updates right? Well, with this one, there's only one non yearly update. Don't let the Adventures logo fool you. No new adventure either. This is pretty much just a way to introduce a new pet and make it look like a bigger deal than it is.

New Code

Hey guysies! As the post suggests, the new code is Friends. It gives you an amazing 1,000 gems! Like, that's pretty good for these codes.

 

That's just proof I guess. Don't really know why I showed you that.

 

 

Just wanted to remind you peeps of these awesome dens going to clearance. I love the mushroom hut. Don't have enough money for both though.

 

 

These are so pretty! Only just noticed them actually. I love them already though.

Valentines/Owls Update

So I'm back. Yeah. Rough start at school and all that weirdness that I don't need to explain because no one cares, but here I am typing it anyway!

Lately, I've been kinda obsessed with cat videos... Like, have you seen some of that stuff? Wow. Just so cute!

Anyway. Update. Yeah. I think I've missed two? I don't know. Did they have a separate one for Valentines Day? I don't know anymore. In fact, this has taken me about 5 minutes to type because my fingers aren't used to the keyboard anymore.

Special Delivery Adventure

Heyo. School started on Wednesday for me, and Friday's a public holiday, so here I am! Hello! Just in time for the new update too. When I say new, I mean AJ covering up a late post by re-posting the whole journal.

 

This valentines limited adventure is called "Special Delivery".

 

As for the rest of the "new" Jamaa Journal, I'm not gonna post it. Don't ask why.

 

 

It's also accessible from the parties menu, same as the other one (forgot the name sorry).  

Here are some pics from it.

 

You basically go around with a bunch of mail and put it in as many mailboxes as you can. After you finish each batch, you get 2 prizes, non member and member, and then get offered a new batch with more mail. This happens three times.

 

I'm loving this owl. It's adorable! Just one more diamond and I'll be able to buy it when it comes!

 

A secret door that you can only open with 4 people hopping.

 

 

Then you go down the slide to the left and get a treasure chest.

 

 

That's what I got when I opened the chest. Pretty awesome prize actually!

Some more prizes. I accidentally didn't take a photo of one of them sorry. It was a heart cake.

 

Well, time to play again and try to get good prizes.
