Shark Cage Glitch 2016

I don't know how to start this post so... There it is.

Alright, so, everyone pretty much knows about this glitch already. There are more videos than grains of sand about it at the moment. But I feel left out so ima gonna post it anyway.

Follow these steps to get the Shark Cage that isn't even rare anymore:

Step 1

Stand at the top of the staircase in Epic Wonders and click on the exit out of the cave (the red circle). 

Step 2

While running, immediately open your inventory and click on the 'Pets; button, then on the 'Pet Shop'.

Step 3

Exit out of the pet shop, but while the pet selection screen is still up, click on the World Map

Step 4

Click on any of the Ocean lands. When you get to one, the pet selection screen should still be open.

Click on the 'Pet Shop' again, and...

The Shark Cage should be available for 700 gems!

 They might become rare again if AJ fixes the glitch, but if they don't I think shark cages will be as widespread as the glitched lights :/

Updated Trading and Taskbar/Main controls thing

Heyo! You have all probably noticed by now, but I only noticed when I got on today because...

(a) I hardly ever trade ever

(b) I wasn't wearing my glasses yesterday 

I'm not sure if this was part of the update, but if it was, why didn't AJ make a page about this instead of repeated instructions for party making? Or the snow leopard ad?

When someone trades you, this is what you see. Fair enough. 

When you press 'ACCePt', BOTH players see this.

To finish the trade, both players have to accept. I think this is really good and will solve most of the "No no no please trade back" and Trust Trading issues, because the player trading gets another chance to change their mind. This should also solve the flash trading completely. 

Another slight thing that has changed was the wood shade of the taskbar/main controls thingy. Yeah. I only found out about this because I was going through old photos and saw that it was lighter before than it is now.

The first person to name all the cats from the top left to the bottom right will get a (very small) prize. 

Costume Corner #3 - Member & Non Member Dragon

Overall, this is a pretty affordable costume. It only requires a bit of trading and playing Best Dressed for 3,350 gems if you decide to go with golden wings, and an extra 1,000 if you don't own a crocodile.

Trade. Or, a Silver Glove for 2,000 gems in Epic Wonders will do nicely too ^ ^

 

Can be bought at Freedom Party, and are not as popular as they used to be :( So if you didn't buy them then, good luck trading my friends

 

I used a tiger here, but a wolf would work just as well.

 

This is quite an affordable costume with only a little trading to do, so have fun roaring and soaring like a dragon!

Weird Trade Glitch

Oh yeah :D

 

While editing my trade list, a weird glitch happened. Basically, a double of an item on trade came, but it was blank, and you could still see the name tag when you hovered over it. I deleted the extra "ghost" trade item, and the item it was copying was deleted as well. There goes my explanatory skills out the window.

"What explanatory skills?"

"Shut up."

Have you guys noticed that the pink cotton candy that you get at the carnival is a lot duller than the ones in the stand?

AJ's Costume Corner

Hi guys! I wanted to find something interesting to post about, and I think I did. In 2012, Animal Jam used to have a section of the Jamaa Journal called "Costume Corner", where they would show you a great look and the price of the items in the look. Check it out.

I thought this was really cool, and I'm a bit sad that AJ keeps removing features that are potentially cool and replacing them with reminders and ads :(

Why does AJ say to jump on Coral Canyons when EVERYONE knows it doesn't break?

Also, I checked in a full world and there was no one on the bridge. I think they would have had better luck if they said "Coral Canyons with as many Arctic Wolves as you can." lol
