Leap Year Party 2016 - Possibly the biggest disappointment in AJ history (which is saying something)

Lets just get this over with. We all know by now that the party is terrible. And contrary to the incredibly RARE ITEMS we were promised...

We got this chicken scratch bunch of items.

But that will come later.

First, there is the amazingly weird display of many, many froggies. This is what you are first teleported to.

Then you realise that it is a tree house den and that there are frogs EVERYWHERE. They are quite cute though,

But already I was beginning to feel suspicious. Something wasn't quite right...

A few grandfather clocks and empty threats later...

We see. The store. Just looking at it, you know... You know... Nothing good comes out of it. Nothing good. 4 years of thinking "when that party comes, I'm going to buy 25 of EVERYTHING!!!!" totally wasted.

Ugh if they want to make the chat better, they should let us use symbols again. And yes I know I spelt symbol wrong ok sorry. I mean, we should at least be able to say the various smiley faces that are totally harmless without using free chat (:D, :), :P, BD)

Oh! And one more thing. You can also now say symbals ! in sentences ? without having to ... enter another sentence :

The XD Glitch

I was doing AJQuest and playing Return Of The Phantoms hard mode with whoopsiforgotmyusername 

and I came across this glitch

which is really weird

Everytime I tried to say XD by itself, it corrected to Who has a gear? But if you said it as part of a sentence (e.g. how about now XD), it would just show what you typed normally. 

Which is weird because gears aren't even in that adventure, so how did they show up in chat? I have no idea.

So I'm just warning you, if you try to type XD, you might get some confused messages lol

February 18 2016 Update - Goats

Hey gais. Goats have come to Jamaa everyone, if you haven't already noticed. Here's the Jamaa Journal...

They do pretty much look like we expected, I think. And I didn't even have to guess where they would end up being for sale. Ugh,

This is awesome. This is fantastic. I've never been to a leap year party and I am STOKED. Not even for the items but for everything else, just being there I think will be cool

Polar bear day? That's a thing? Oh well. I guess it's pretty cool. Shouldn't national geographic be donating to the polar bears anyway though? I don't know. Ignore me. 

This is cute, and AJ even had the good grace to make it NM. Yay!

Ok, I have to admit that is pretty cute

They have a goat minibook now. This is probably going to be a thing for all the new diamond shop animals now. I do have to admit though, I do know more about goats now. Who knows? It might come in handy someday.

If you take the quiz at the end of the goat minibook and get all the answers right,

You get a goat trophy! Which I have cropped really weirdly. 

The falcon? Well, I guess I sort of saw that coming. It would have been nice to have a different animal though. I think falcons and eagles are too similar, but hey, they made do with foxes and arctic foxes, right? 

I personally voted for sloths because we have very similar characteristics and sleeping habits

They have also added three Lucky Party Jam A Grams, and a Night Of The Phantoms one..? A glitch I guess.

There is a funny-looking glitch with the goats and bow-and-arrows 

My least favourite thing about this update. It's quite sad, actually. Not as sad as people starving, but still sad. Pretty much since the game introduced membership, the nametags have been the same. Until now.

They look, well, "bleached", as Meloetta385 calls it. And I agree. It's stupid to change it, in my opinion. They look so dull now :(

Well, happy jamming, and maybe I'll see you at the leap year party!

Ok so here's the update! It's pretty great actually, besides the horrible chat system. There's not even an ad! Wow

Available in the diamond shop for 7 diamonds!!!! Everyone LUUURVES the diamond shop! It's not at all expensive and totally affordable for all players!!!

I WILL post on the party another time, because it's a one time only thing and yeah. I will post about it though, promise

Don't let the cute bunny fool you. The new chat system is, to be frank, stupid. It doesn't let you even misspell a word without giving you a warning, and you can say words like "Scam" and "Hack" without getting in trouble? How is that fair? More on that later

I'm loving all of our inventory space these days. I thought 400 was good!

Most importantly, there is a new broom icon for the inventory! It works just like the old "Clear" button which got removed because too many players complained after accidentally clearing their items all the time.

It's only there if you have an item of clothing on you. Hence the colour clashing lol

Aside from half of the journal being repeats and the new and "improved" chat system, I thought this update was great! The broom icon really brought it home. Your thoughts?
