I didn't have any evidence from the party bar to show it, so my guess is that they had been there for a while. But, I do today!

Summer Carnival 2015 - May 28 Update

I don't have time to write after each picture today, I've only written underneath one. So just click on the picture and scroll for a closer look, because I'm not writing anything. A picture tells a thousand words! ;)

I accidentally got suspended lol

So me and a bunch of other friends were at this mechanical egg giveaway, and we were joking about people who say "I'll call AJHQ give me headdress", so I said in all caps, "MY DAD WORKS FOR AJHQ GIVE ME YOUR ACCOUNT NOW" and got suspended. I actually find it hilarious for the following reasons:

• You can say "Pooping parties" and "WE ARE ALL ON SOMETHING BAD" but as soon as you mention an account they suspend you
• I was only joking around, and the AJHQ dad excuse I gave is actually something people say
• I wasn't thinking about what I said and after I entered, all I thought was "They will do a 10 second warning"

 

So yeah, I was laughing my face off

 

 

I reckon they should at least give you ten seconds, because I couldn't even say goodbye and they're all probably like "Why did she leave?"

So yeah, I'll see you guys tomorrow XD

Things to do if you're non member

I think I'm posting this to convince myself that being a non member isn't that bad. Apart from the fact that no one takes you seriously cause they all just care about spikes.

Well, enjoy :D

 

 

Just because you can't have a den on the not so epic den list doesn't mean you can't try to make your den as awesome as possible. I think that non members have more creativity because they have to make do with the limited items they have.

Tiger glitch

While setting up for the next Rain comic strip, I experienced a glitch that I like to call the Tiger Glitch.

 

 

I clicked on Fang the tiger, and instead of Fang showing up, a random shelf was there instead!

 

Then when I clicked again, Fang didn't show up, but his icon was coloured.

Plus my hedges were being really weird

See how glitchy this is?

Things AJ Could Improve On

I won't be ranting in this post, I'm just going to offer some suggestions on things that I think would make AJ a lot more exciting. Leave your suggestions in the comments too!

1) More buddy slots

I don't think 100 is nearly enough when there are like, I don't know, a couple of million players? 3 million?

2) Dens that aren't 100 times bigger than the Small Den

I'm getting sick of these  dens like are so massive. Why can't there be classy, simple dens, some for non members and member alike?

3) More ocean activities

These days, the ocean is abandoned. If a world is full, the only lands that won't have anyone in them are the oceans. 

4) Jamaa Journals that aren't just ads and copies of the last Journal

I'm looking at you Pony Update

5) RIM that aren't just another colour, usually an unstylish one, of an item already released. 

6) A decent writing team

Have you seen the Daily Explorer lately?

7) Non rude people, who care about anything else apart from "Spikes"

8) More flexible Jam A Gram communication

You can't say sorry in Jam A Grams?????

9) Decent non member content

At least let them change the colours of items!

10) More inventory space

11) A decent security system

Raspberry, not Secret Blue?

Hey guys. I was trying to get the "secret" baby blue colour for my bunny today, and instead I got a Raspberry! Check it out

 

 

You can't tell at first that I'm clicking anything, but just watch and you'll see

 

So yeah, I thought that was cool. Instead of fixing the glitch, AJ changed it to a different colour!

 

Now you know, unless someone found out before me and posted it on the internet. We may never know :)

Rain The Rhino!

Hi everyone! I just made a new blog starring a plushie named Rain, and he's a rhino! Just click on his picture on the pages to the right, and you can view his blog.

Cami's Frog

This isn't an item history post as such, but more of a real life story from a girl named Cami. Cami was a young girl who was diagnosed with Leukemia, a type of cancer. Cami's father, Pat, picked Froggy as a toy for her before she was born, and Cami has slept with it ever since. He works for Smart Bomb, and created Cami's Frog (Froggy) to be sold on Animal Jam during the beta says.

I'm really glad to see that Cami is doing okay, and that she and her family are having fun once again, like they should.

The Golden Samurai Helmet, and other golden items, have been in Epic Wonders for a LOOOONG time. Does this mean that AJ is bringing a new set item? No doubt it would be in the Diamond Shop lol.

I fear that soon, all the member items will be in the diamond shop :(

AJ's Costume Corner

Hi guys! I wanted to find something interesting to post about, and I think I did. In 2012, Animal Jam used to have a section of the Jamaa Journal called "Costume Corner", where they would show you a great look and the price of the items in the look. Check it out.

I thought this was really cool, and I'm a bit sad that AJ keeps removing features that are potentially cool and replacing them with reminders and ads :(
